Belinda, Operations Manager

Belinda’s youngest son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder just after his second birthday. After reviewing many of the available therapies, the family began an intensive, early intervention ABA program with a leading service provider. Belinda completed the training workshop and became a therapist on her son’s team. She also successfully recruited her own independent therapists to work alongside her. Belinda and her family have witnessed first-hand the positive impact that a team of strong, dedicated and caring therapists can have on a child.

Belinda completed a Bachelor Education (Primary) at University of Technology, Sydney.  Following university Belinda worked at UNSW Education Assessment Australia (EAA) for a number of years in the test construction team and has been involved in writing and reviewing test materials for a range of assessments including ICAS Mathematics, ICAS Digital Technologies and NAPLAN numeracy.  She currently acts as an external consultant for EAA.

Belinda also has ten years of experience working as a primary school teacher at Loquat Valley School, Bayview.  In her time at the school she taught classes from Kindergarten to Year 6, mainly working as a classroom teacher.  She also taught Learning Support  and Extension and Challenge in both literacy and numeracy.
